Al Roker knows more Yiddish than you'd guess
In December 2005 Wex appeared on the Today Show with Al Roker.
Al starts by talking to regular Joes in the Carnegie Deli to find out how much Yiddish they know.
He then interviews Wex about why he wrote Born to Kvetch. Wex explains how kvetching can be cathartic, the true meaning of kvetch, how Yiddish went mainstream and the definition of shlemiel.
